I moved into West Texas A&M this past wednesday and im loving it already! I have been spending most of my time at the Baptist Student Ministry which has brought me to meet loads of wonderful people. The sweetest girl i have met is Madison Schad. She lives in the unit next to me, H. We spend most of our time together eating meals and working out. I really enjoy spending my days getting to know her.

Today Buddy Young taught me, Mary Cruddas and Madison how to swim properly. It was quite humerous to watch our BSM director teach us how to swim. But we did it! We all swam 500 yards today (10 laps) and we can definitely feel the burn. We are all determined to avoid the “Freshman 15” by working out everyday together and keeping each other accountable :)

Tonight the same group of girls plus me are making dinner in the Shirely kitchen. Shrimp avocado and mango salad with blueberry muffins are on the menu tonight :)

Thank you God for watching over me so far and blessing me with the wonderful girls i have met so far.
